Reducing pressure surge

The use of special expansion tanks with a bladder is recommended for rapid shut-off fixtures. This reduces pressure surge and therefore noise that would otherwise be conveyed into the pipe system and may increase due to reverberation. This pressure balancing tank also reduces the switching frequency thanks to its buffer volume. Thus the operating life of system increases.
